The assignment
From operational problem to working product.
Make Me Better serves medical practitioners who need to move quickly from a set of presenting symptoms to relevant diagnostic information, without wading through reference material mid-consultation.
Challenge
The underlying body of symptom, diagnosis and treatment information is large and interconnected. It had to become usable inside a focused clinical workflow: fast to navigate, legible under pressure, and structured so that narrowing symptoms genuinely narrows the answer.
Approach
We structured the product around progressive symptom selection: each choice refines the picture, and result states stay clear about what is a possibility versus a recommendation. Complex medical reference content was reorganised so the interface, not the reader, does the filtering.
Outcome
The resulting web application gives practitioners a straightforward path from presenting symptoms to relevant diagnostic information and recommended next steps, in a form that holds up during real consultations.
