The assignment
From operational problem to working product.
Discipline @ a Click was built for directors and HR teams who have to run workplace disciplinary procedures correctly, in a space where the process is defined by labour law rather than by preference.
Challenge
Disciplinary procedure is formal, document-heavy and unforgiving of missed steps. The teams responsible needed a clearer way to follow processes informed by labour-law specialists, keep every case organised, and show afterwards that each stage was handled properly.
Approach
We translated the formal process into guided steps a non-specialist can follow, with each case holding its own record of documents, decisions and dates. The workspace is deliberately plain: it privileges progressing the case correctly over decoration, and keeps the relevant information retained and retrievable.
Outcome
Discipline @ a Click became a focused desktop application that supports structured, consistent handling of workplace disciplinary actions, giving employers a defensible record of how each case moved from incident to resolution.
